Following msg from Wayne:
Good morning. Thank you for praying for Joash and our family. Would like to take this opportunity to update everyone on Joash. There are so many things to give thanks to God for.
1. Joash wound is healing well notwithstanding he is undergoing chemo. He is also progressing with physio and able to walk a bit with crutches. Praise God for that!
2. Chemo and immunotherapy have been going smoothly and Joash is managing well.
3. We want to give thanks to God that Joash received results that was better than what we anticipated. Thankful his classmates did their best and this allowed Joash to be able to hv results to go to secondary school. We are truly grateful and appreciative of the school for doing their best to accommodate and make this possible. Thanks be to God! 🙏🏼
The journey continues and will take a while for him to complete treatment and rehab to regain his mobility. We hold on to God's promise of protection and full healing of Joash.
Thank you for keeping Joash in prayer all this time. Your support has been a great encouragement and comfort to us. 🙏🏼 we give the Lord our God all the glory 🙌🏻

““Because he loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. With long life I will satisfy him and show him my salvation.””
Psalms 91:14-16 NIV
🙌🏻 Praise God that the debridement went well today and skin grafting is set for next Monday 1.30pm! Tissue granulation is looking good 👍🏻
🙌🏻 CRP has continued to drop to 14 today (normal below 5) and white blood cell count 7.93! The kidney marker creatinine has remained stable at 90! (Normal below 100). Thank God for continued healing of Yoke Fai’s body 🙏
🙌🏻 Other than the persistent low haemoglobin at 7.9, all areas look positively encouraging and antibiotics can be stopped now. 🙏 Thank God for 2 pints of blood given today to boost his haemoglobin as prep for next week.
This week, please journey with us in prayers as next week will be a major surgery to skingraft over his wound affected by nec fasciitis/ myositis.
The surgery involves two wounds: the wound site (right thigh) where the new skin is placed, and the donor site (left thigh) where the healthy skin is taken from.
🙏 Please pray against graft failure or poor healing for the wound site (right thigh) and these other risks:
• infection, hematoma (blood pooling), or fluid buildup.
• Chronic pain
• numbness or hypersensitivity
🙏For the donor site (left thigh) where skin is taken from, pls pray for smooth healing and pray against
• infection
• pain
• bleeding
• poor healing, altered sensation
• numbness or hypersensitivity
🙏 Please continue to pray for the annular tears in his spine which is now managed largely by Arcoxia which is not a permanent drug. It is not meant to be long term and can only can be taken for 2-3 weeks only for pain relief
🙏 Pray for protection of kidneys while on Arcoxia.
